The post is date 01 December 2018, but the link will take you to the latest version. Otherwise instructions remain the same.
It will be named «vlc-3.0.14-win32.exe» or «vlc-3.0.14-win64.exe» respectively depending on whether you're using a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows. Basically you can just download the current installer, and then select the option to "upgrade/update VLC using the current settings" and it should work fine.
Hi all, I quite frequently download video's using the VLC + Youtube.lua for non-professional purposes. Since monday (maybe sunday) I seem to be unable to stream videos. If you have conflicts, simply rename, move or (only in the most extreme cases) delete youtube.luac (notice the "c" on the end, it's ".luac"), leaving only my new youtube.lua in place. Go to VLC & press Ctrl+V, then press Enter (or click Play) to confirm playing the URL.
Nobody challenges that VLC on Tizen would be useful. The problem is purely lack of volunteer developers, or a deep-pocketed sponsor to fund professional developers. This is most likely not what you want to read but adding more posts on this forum begging for a Tizen port will not make either of these things happen.
I want to play blu-ray disc using VLC. After searching for a bit. Find out I need libaacs.dll and keydb.cfg. I got keydb.cfg from the official websit after extracting a file named libaacs 0.8.1. Where can I get libaacs.dll?

From a memory standpoint, a 64 bit VLC can access more memory. My last 32 bit VLC from much earlier in the year was not Large Memory Aware, so it is capped at 2GB. If it was large memory aware, it could access up to 4GB on a 64 bit box with sufficient memory. For what I do, the 32 and 64 bit versions performed identically.
