This collection brings new graphics and colors to both the off-road and street markets with 40 options to choose from. New designs are available for the ATR-2 off-road motorcycle helmet, the ATR-1 off-road helmet, the ATR-2Y youth off-road helmet as well as the ATS-1R Street helmet.
Tried both brands on and after putting 55mm cheek pads in a medium 6D the fit was very good. When comparing fit, both helmets felt good with the 6D feeling like it hugged my head a bit better with the thicker cheek pads. The fit in combination with 6D being able to rebuild a helmet after a hard crash made me go with the 6D.

That was over a year ago, so perhaps my memory is faulty. Does 6D bank on their technology to bridge the quality gap vs Arai & Shoei. The Arai seems like the highest quality helmet with the best fit & finish I've ever handled. The Shoei seems very close to that level and is a bit more stylish while a bit lower in price.
Fly Formula Carbon or 6d ATR-2. I'm in the market for a new helmet and I like the technology in the Fly Formula Carbon with the Reon and Cone Head EPS. But I also like the 6d ATR-2 and the ODS technology in it. I saw Zach Bell's crash in his 6d but I also saw Weston Peick's crash in the Fly and even though his face was destroyed, his brain wasn't.
