  8. Posted on May 30, 2020 11:11 AM. If the previous owner deleted their AppleID without first signing out of iCloud on that device, then there is no way to disable activation lock now. There is also nothing Apple can do to rectify that situation. iCloud must be signed out on the device before deleting an AppleID.
