I had to click on hbomax, pick my profile. Go to the far left hand side menu, go all the way down to the settings gear. Then go all the way to the top menu/bar, and go all the way over to the right, and there found the sign out - I could swear I tried this before, but must not have gone all the way over far enough! 0 Kudos. HBO Max Tech Support 1-855-442-6629. Albert walked me thru step-by-step. They are aware of this issue and am getting tons of calls. 1. Logon to HBOMax App on your TV (I use a Roku Ultra) 2. At top where it shows Browse, Q, then your initial, toggle to your initial till it shows something to the right of it (like your name). 3. Click OK.
Re: Can't log out of HBO Max to log into new HBO Max account. Log in at hbomax.com with your old credentials and go to your profile settings where you'll see all your devices that are signed in, with an option to sign out each of them. Then sign out with your browser and sign back in with your new credentials.

I have uninstalled HBO Max app. Restarted Roku. Add HBO Max. Problem persists. Repeat process won't work. Just an endless loop. HBO Max works on other devices, so this appears to be a Roku specific issue. Other shows on HBO Max app on Roku runs fine. One movie's run time is 136 minutes. The other movie's run time is 156 minutes.
