  2. The ugly truth of Indeed. An HR viewpoint : r/recruitinghell -...

    www.reddit.com/r/recruitinghell/comments/r4e6rh/the_ugly_truth_of_indeed_an_hr...

Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors. Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format. An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones. Applying to these cloned jobs does ...

  3. Has anyone actually landed a job on Indeed : r/jobs - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/tlxusx/has_anyone_actually_landed_a_job_on_indeed

Yes. I got my last 3 jobs on Indeed. 200 applications is my average per job landed. I got a bunch of jobs on indeed I got like over 20 jobs in last two years but the current job I’m at, I got that job from going into indeed, clicking the company link they provided there and boom got the job. Indeed doesn't work.

  4. Usage of "Indeed" in "Thank you very much indeed"

    english.stackexchange.com/questions/344523

Indeed, I am. Indeed originates from the phrase in dede meaning "in fact, in truth." When you use the word indeed, you are underscoring that something is true. The word is also used when you want to introduce a point that's even truer than the last one you made. "Yes, I passed the test, and indeed, got the highest score in the class."

  5. Indeed is such a waste of fucking time. : r/jobs - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/w6faqe/indeed_is_such_a_waste_of_fucking_time

Head to our discord for live support: discord.gg/jobs. Indeed is such a waste of fucking time. The majority of the postings are just repostings there as a front because those companies are either so atrocious to work for with their "fire them before benefits kick in" ponzi scheme or they simply dont intend to hire anyone. That shit needs to be ...

  6. Are Indeed assessments actually worth anything? : r/jobs - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/gvjxhs/are_indeed_assessments_actually_worth...

Great. More bullshit hoops to jump through. They are worth it if the job ad mandates you take it but does the assessment really show if a candidate is competent or not is a different question and IMO it's entirely arbitrary and should be taken with a measure of skeptics. In my experience, yes absolutely.

  7. Applying through indeed vs company website which is better?

    www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/upvbg3/applying_through_indeed_vs_company...

Going through the company website is probably better if possible. I know that in our system, I simply log into the employer portal, and everyone's right there. Then every so often, I get an email from HR with a dump of additional resumes that were filed through indeed/linkedin. Simple truth is they get less love than the ones filed through the ...

  8. Beware of Realistic Indeed Scams : r/jobs - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/nkr1ei/beware_of_realistic_indeed_scams

Beware of Realistic Indeed Scams. Job searching. I almost fell for a scam today. Last week I applied for a remote job via a post on indeed. The employer listed was a real company that I researched before applying. I received a text yesterday saying they would like to proceed with an online interview to further screen applicants.

  9. Indeed is useless. Does anyone have job sites that they swear by?

    www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/k11o3r/indeed_is_useless_does_anyone_have_job...

Exactly this. Not sure by swear by, but you should consider all outlets for jobs including Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, Glassdoor, etc. Also, depending on how desperate you are, Craigslist isn’t necessarily a terrible place to look for a job despite how sketchy it is. I got my first job through Craigslist; you can ask how that went if you want.

  10. I have expert answers : r/IndeedAssessments - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/IndeedAssessments/comments/v6h3vu/i_have_expert_answers

There are 70 members in this community. There are 110 assessments on indeed. We can all make another gmail account- take them under a fake account, screenshot the questions, research the answers, and share them amongst ourselves. I have expert in written communication, graphic design, and bartending and have the answers in a word doc that I can ...

Head to our discord for live support: discord.gg/jobs. LPT: Dont forget to apply directly through the company's website, instead of indeed. In my past experiences of applying for jobs, I've noticed that companies will post on Indeed, but will also have a direct application on their website. Make sure you visit the company's website every single ...
