Now with the new EDGE browser that location is blank.

In reply to Greg Carmack's post on February 5, 2021. I knew about this, but I am really looking for is an easy Microsoft method of moving the "Temporary Internet Files" from the profile directory to C:\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\ like you can in IE 7 up to 11. Windows will delete the data contained in the searched folders succesfully, but a ghost entry for files on a non existing volume may persist in that case. Solution: -use totalcommander (as admin) to open the folder, where DiskCleanUp found those "undeleteable Internetfiles". -delete file "content.ie5". -delete folder "IE".
Meanwhile, you can manually delete files in the Temporary Internet Files folder by clicking the View files button. Select and right click on the files that you wish to remove, then select Delete. Also, you can check this support article for more information about Disk cleanup in Windows 10. Looking forward to your response.

For file downloads specifically they are held in the location you are trying to download as a temporary file before renaming to the actual filename. For cached data it is store in: C:\Users\ [username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data.
