Angela Buchdahl (née Warnick; Korean: 앤절라 워닉 북달; [2] born July 8, 1972) is an American reform rabbi. She was the first East Asian-American to be ordained as a rabbi, and the first East Asian-American to be ordained as a hazzan (cantor).
Rabbi Angela Warnick Buchdahl serves as the Senior Rabbi of Central Synagogue in New York City and is the first woman to lead Central’s Reform congregation in its 180-year history. Rabbi Buchdahl first joined Central Synagogue as Senior Cantor in 2006.

Angela Warnick Buchdahl (born July 8, 1972, Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean-born American rabbi who was the first Asian American to lead a major U.S. synagogue (2014– ) and to be ordained as a cantor (1999) and as a rabbi (2001).
She is the first Asian American to be ordained as a cantor or rabbi and the first woman to attain both positions. For the past seven years, she has not only served as senior cantor of Central Synagogue, a 2,000-family Reform congregation in New York, but also as a poster girl for the face of Jewish diversity in America.
