The 2023 Illinois State Fair runs from August 10th through August 20th. The Fairgrounds are open from 7 a.m. to Midnight for the duration of the Fair. The Fair Administration Office is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the fair.

From November 1st through March 31 st, the campground is closed. There are 300 sites available that can accommodate motor homes, RV's, fifth wheels, and tents with electric and water and limited sewer hook-ups. Shower facilities and permanent restrooms are available.
Welcome to the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Our 366-acre campus is home to hundreds of events year-round. Our campground is open to the public from April - October 31st. To inquire about campground vacancies and availability, please contact our Non-Fair events office.
Artisans Building. 6,400 Square Feet. . The Artisans Building was constructed in 1898 and is complete with hardwood floors, restrooms, and an open floor plan. This flexible facility is an excellent location for wedding receptions, high school proms, or meetings.
