Be civil. Letter from Wells Fargo Regarding Identity Theft Protection- Affinion Product. Pretty sure this isn’t legit. The WF logo seems off (a little faded), the return address and phone number don’t belong to WF, and the reference/membership numbers seem a bit much. Plus, the flow and word choice of the letter is weird.

Wells Fargo Remediation Check. Saving. I received a check from Wells Fargo for $87 & a letter for an account I had in the past. It did not explain very well which account it was for and why. I attempted to negotiate a higher sum with them as I was under the impression this was an account that had SEVERAL illegal overdraft fees from them.
90 days. You must meet their qualification for full 90 days from opening. Hitting 93 days today. Supposedly it actually takes 30 to 45 days after the 90 day mark. Just got my $300 today. 2 days after the 90 day time frame, was a nice surprise! You don't open just one account with WF.
Chase is less shady than Wells Fargo imo. If you want physical locations and ATMs go with wells, else go with chase. Chase 1000 times over. I have both and its not even close. It doesn't meaningfully matter. You'll find stories about both of them doing awful things. I would say check your area for a local Credit Union.
