O Holy Night. " O Holy Night " (original title: Cantique de Noël) is a sacred song about the night of the birth of Jesus Christ, described in the first verse as 'the dear Saviour', and frequently performed as a Christmas carol. Based on a French-language poem written in 1843 by poet Placide Cappeau, it was set to music by composer Adolphe Adam.

Music career. Siegel was born in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Eugene, Oregon. When he was eight years old, he began piano lessons, and at 12 he was performing professionally in a rock band. He went to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, then studied at the University of Oregon. After college, he started recording his own compositions.
Night Lights is an album by American jazz saxophonist Gerry Mulligan featuring performances recorded in 1963 and first released on the Philips label. The album's re-release on the Verve Label, includes the bonus track "The Lonely Night (Night Lights 1965 Version) which originally only appeared on Mulligan's 1965 album "Feelin' Good" with vocals by Judy Holliday.
