Back when my seasonal role began in November 2018, my EI stopped because I missed an informant session in November (I was unaware of this session until after it happened, I didn’t get the letter until the start of January). At the time, my thought was that my EI stopped BECAUSE I had started my seasonal role.
A few weeks ago (ie mid-March) I applied for EI Illness and received my 4-digit code today to submit my first report. In the past 52 weeks I have worked 600 insurable hours to qualify, but I stopped working mid-August, so the 600 hours come from the period mid-March 2023 to mid-August 2023. I have not worked since August 2023.

If you were collecting while getting these tips, they should have been reported on each EI report as they are considered earnings.
When you do your EI reports online, you can see it. If you do your reports by phone, I think it will mention about the early reporting. Not when the direct deposit information during the stat holidays. Do consult the website for it. If you still get mail by cheque, I don't know when you will get it.
