There are multiple ways to duplicate tracks, drag and drop with Ctrl-key pressed and 'Auto track sync' disabled beforehand is one of them, but I wouldn't do it this way. I'd suggest using separate tracks for stereo and mono recordings with the appropriate pan settings. Last edited: Nov 21, 2020.

In Lightworks there's often more than one way of doing things. The V14 quick start video tutorial gives methods for shortening/trimming a segment inside the timeline. You can do this either by mark and parking the unwanted section, allowing you the option of deleting "x" or removing "z" if you want the gap.
With Lightworks Create, same as with Lightworks Free, it is not possible to export in 4:3. The other problem with the DVD format is that it is interlaced and needs either interlaced export (Lightworks Pro only) or de-interlacing prior to export. No version of Lightworks supports the latter.

Updated Lightworks 2023.2 Release Installers Now Available To Download. We have updated the installers for 2023.2 with revision 143744. This new build now has helpful links on the hints popups that link to the new online Knowledge Base and even includes the ability to change the colour on Bins/Groups as well as adding in Notes metadata!
