Make sure you go in one consistent direction as it may leave marks on the car. Start with less Comet, and see how it works. You just need to see how the oxidation and crud reacts.

Hose down the car and wash it off. Wet car down again and sprinkle Comet on it in the area you are washing and use the sponge to rub it around. You are in theory, wet sanding the dull paint off. Rinse it off and repeat as necessary. You will get a shine, but not the same as if you had buffed and waxed it.

The two best parts this video are the people and the cars. The cars may be the coolest and they are the machines I truly fell in love with as a kid. I wasn’t much of a Beretta guy but the Camaro of Ed Hoover and the Willys of Scotty Cannon were tops in my book. Ronnie Sox’s Comet was a bad hombre as well but it was not one of my favorites.

All Falcons built in the US between 1960 and 1970 had the 7.5" rear except V-8 cars that had the 8" The only Falcons that had 9" rears were the 9 or so '65 models that were built in Canada with the K-code solid lifter 289, and the 1970 mid size Falcon that was really just a rebadged Fairlane/Torino.

I spent hours combing forums and plumbing websites and noted that this is a very common issue in old homes with undersized poorly vented drain pipes. On one forum in particular there was a plumber who spelled things out in plain english. He said a properly vented 2" pipe can handle a new washing machines 32gpm discharge flow no problem.
