Hadar is a village in Pierce County, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Norfolk, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area . The population was 293 at the 2010 census .
The city is in southeastern Madison County, located just west of the junction of U.S. Route 81 and Nebraska Highway 32. [8] US 81 leads north 15 miles (24 km) to Norfolk, the largest city in the county, and south 30 miles (48 km) to Columbus, while Highway 32 leads east 39 miles (63 km) to West Point and west 34 miles (55 km) to Petersburg.

The Norfolk Carnegie Library in Norfolk, Nebraska is a Carnegie library which was built in 1910. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. It has Classical Revival details. It was designed by Norfolk architect J.C. Stitt and built by contractor L.H. Woerth.
