They are not gone on Hulu Live, who is owned by Disney, that also owns the ABC Network. Since you claimed to of read it, please post a link, check your history so you can find it. Owned and Operated ABCs are gone on DirecTV Satellite. All ABC Stations are gone on DirecTV by Internet and DirecTV Stream.
The "Live TV" tab for each premium service only appears after you have subscribed to the add-on if you click on say "HBO Max" or "Showtime" within Hulu. I often subscribe to Starz through Hulu when there is an original series I want to watch and then cancel it later.
