The following is a list of the 64 schools that fielded men's ice hockey teams in NCAA Division I in the most recent 2023–24 season, plus the 44 schools that fielded women's teams in the de facto equivalent of Division I, the NCAA's National Collegiate division. Conference affiliations reflect those in place for the next 2024–25 season.
