Stellaris has went through 2 massive changes throughout its existence, on top of new versions every few months for years. You added 2024 in the title which makes me wonder if you played it in 2020 or something.
I'm trying to decide between getting the base game vs. the highest tier with multiple DLCs. I'd get the base game if the game is worth playing around multiple times. I'm looking at some of the more negative reviews from 2016 (e.g. IGN, Gamespot).
Marauders make for good spice in the usually uneventful mid-game, give you the chance to have a mid-game-crisis, Titans are a welcome addition for each fleet and Planet Killers can change warfare forever. In the last spot I'd put Nemesis.

I haven't playes since before toxoids and the game has improved/changed by a huge margin. When i played, i used to love going for tech rushes. So if its okay to ask, what are some solid/op builds for me to use on this version of the game. Thank you so much!
