Then the address provided doesn't say USPS Verified; but it also doesn't say that it's 'not verified, and shipping to an unverified address can cause a delay', etc. So I googled the address in NYC and it appears to be a large though not gigantic apartment building. The address provided did not have an apartment number, however.
Sometimes the PO messes up - you cant just go by what the post office writes on the package when they return it to you. You need to look into this and confirm the address with the customer and then with USPS. If the post office made a mistake then it is not the customer who should pay for re-delivery.
Re: USPS refuses to pick up. 05-31-202008:45 AM. The post office is frequently short handed and may be sending a different carrier several times a week and that carrier isn't getting the message. Call the local post office, ask to speak to the post master and politely explain the situation.

I was attempting to print a label for an order and ran into an issue I haven't encountered before. The address shows USPS verified in green as usual but inside a big red square it says This address is invalid. Update address to purchase labels. Be sure to state very very clearly the reason for non-delivery (I like to use the exact wording from USPS and include a copy of the tracking information). Same thing has been happening on my own shop and my daughter's, so it's probably a bug. We've been copying and pasting the Postcodes into G**gle search, just to double-check the addresses. 01-25-202204:12 PM. Your explanation might be correct, but my customer wants to return a heavy set of stone bookends that ship beautifully in a medium flat rate box (15 lbs.) The charge to ship it originally was around $14 for med flat rate. The return label is coming up around $23!
