Whatsapp on desktop because it feels more "Native" to the computer and is an actual App, if you know what I mean. Not that whatsapp needs strong computing power I just prefer actual apps than web apps.

Reset WhatsApp Web recently, been seeing low/fair CPU usage since. There were a few pop-ups asking for permissions, denied them all. In particular, one asked to "allow background sync for better performance", the better performance part makes it a likely culprit for me.
For all those using WhatsApp Web in Chrome - if it is very slow - just delete the cached db, i.e. delete the IndexedDB. Open whatsapp web in Chrome web browser, F12 (enter dev tools), Now go to Application tab and delete all IndexedDB one by one. It will start fresh and for me it is now blazing fast. Enjoy :)
My google account language is English, my system language is English, my chrome language is English, but whatsapp web keeps showing in my native language and I can't find an option that changes it. It used to be in English just like everything else, maybe it was an update or something, but now it's not anymore.
After working with FreeChat the application hasn't been updated in a while and it's buggy. The best solution is to open Whatsapp web in Google Chrome. Then go to the 3 dot menu -> Save and Share -> Install Whatsapp Web. This saves the Whatsapp web as an individual application that will have its own dock icon and work exactly as the old Whatsapp.
Since the multi-device function was activated, I cannot use whatsapp web, a few minutes after scanning the qr and the chats are loaded, a sign appears saying that I do not have enough disk space and that the session will be closed. This only happens on the web, I use Firefox but I tried edge and chrome. It happens to me on any computer.
Here's my workaround for using whatsapp on multiple devices with KaiOS. I bought a second sim with a second phone number (no subscription, just with funds) and added this in a Android device and have this phone laying at home. Now I can type a message with Whatsapp Web for that phone and send that to the number of my KaiOS.
