In 1996, to celebrate the magazine's 50th anniversary, a CD-ROM game titled Highlights Interactive was released featuring games based the magazine's then-current features. This was followed in 1997 by a spin-off game, Highlights Hidden Pictures Workshop. In 2010, Highlights released a series of educational mobile apps on the iOS App Store.
