Remove all mods and test with only with forge and Optifine - also downgrade Forge to 40.1.73.

Then I tried with Optifine extracted and it works as well. So I don't know what the problem is really. So I'd say either disable (typing .disabled after the .jar in the file name) the other Optifines or remove them and loading only the 1.12.2 version in the mods folder if you have a modded Forge instance.

I wanted to play a modpack with forge 36.2.0 and install optifine G8 (compatible with forge 36.1.0) in the mod folder but it doesn't work, the game crash, do anyone know if there is a compatible version forge 36.2.0 (or any other optimization mod) ? thx
