The series followed car designer Boyd Coddington and his crew as they built hot rods and custom vehicles at his wheel and car shop in La Habra, California.

The site is now the mailing address for the Coddington Foundation, the charity set up by Boyd and his wife, Jo, in 2005 to help terminal sick children.
