Discuss Frontier Airlines here in this subreddit. For those considering flying Frontier. This sub is clogged with all sorts of reports of flying drama with Frontier. You might deduce that flying Frontier is a really bad idea. I just wanted to come on here and say that lots of flights by Frontier leave on time, arrive on time, and passengers on ...
Awesome experience on Frontier! Tl;dr - Key tips for Frontier: If checked baggage, pay at the time of booking ($40). Make sure to use Apple Airtags to keep your mind at peace. Check-in as soon as the 24 hour window open. We were travelling as a family of 7 with 5 adults and 2 kids. 3 adults were seated together and the two kids were both seated ...
Yes, Frontier is a horror show, but not for what you think. It’s not the no-frills, lucky not to pay for air on the flight stuff that is expected in budget carriers. It’s not even the delays. It’s Frontier’s shamefully underhanded manner of handling operations when things go wrong.
Frontier airlines. As I endure another night at the airport, awaiting tomorrow morning's rescheduled flight, I’m famished , and a shower becomes a desperate need. The situation worsens with the disappearance of my checked luggage post-cancellation, met only with a fleeting apology from the front desk staff.
Mostly positive review. I was so nervous for my first frontier flight after reading posts in this group but I’m here to report that all went (mostly) well. We got delayed 49 minutes flying the first flight of the day MBJ - ATL but ended up landing only 30 mins late luckily. Nobody checked our carry on luggage or personal items.

It’s between $99 and $149 to do the status match but you’d get a free full size carry on, priority boarding, and stretch seating so if you were gonna buy anything separately it might be cheaper to just to the status match. https://www.frontierstatusmatch.com. In the end most frontier flight are fine.
If you can get to the airport and talk to someone in person you’ll probably get the best info. Fly on a real airline. You can drive yourself to the airport and talk to an agent there. But you'll probably pay a $20 fee. try travel.flyfrontier.com to change/cancel your flight.
Yes, you're allowed to bring a backpack even if it doesn't fit under a seat. If you get a full size carry on, they will charge you for it. I always bring a half size carryon and I never had a problem. I've flown a couple times with a backpack and no carry on and nobody batted an eye.
Read this before buying yourself a Frontier ticket!! Budget airlines (Like Frontier or Spirit) are airlines that sell you an extremely cheap fare (sometimes less than $30), but then charge fees for everything else (checked/carry-on bags, seat selection, and even assistance from an agent). Here's why: Look at legacy (full service) airlines like ...
