Take a small piece of paper, roll it smaller than the bore, place inside and it will unroll, plugging the bore. A half sheet of paper in the action end, same method. Hope that helps, seems to work well for me. Oh-go thinner by the bottom portion that will be in contact with the stock/bedding.

The 5-25 I ordered unexpectedly came in today, nice surprise.Haven’t mounted it yet on my daughters rifle but it feels well built, the turrets are crisp and the glass looks to be really nice.I think it will be a great scope for her to start off with. However, it has created a very heavy 2stage trigger. All internals for slide were pulled from Oem g43 slide.
Dec 13, 2023. #7. I've got the 1-8 and if you're ok with SFP, it's been a good scope for me. I like the capped turrets and the reticle is useable for precision. Wish it was a little lighter, but it was not $1,500 like my PLXc. The illumination isn't insanely bright, but again it's a sub $600 scope and I don't need illumination on the SFP.

Meopta has a large facility in Florida. I compared MPO 3-18x50 with Optika6 3-18x50 side by side. Optically, MPO is slightly better in low light. Very hard to tell any difference in good light. MPO is a little more expensive, so whether it is worth the price difference is hard to say. I do like both scopes.
