    1. Jul 6, 2010. #3. Gross Anatomy seems like a tough class, but you get used to the dynamics of it. For me, taking Kinesiology at the same time helped me learn anatomy better because I got to apply it. And once you get further along in your studies, you get to put everything together which makes it easier to learn.

PT school is definitely intense. The material isn't that hard, there is just a lot of it. It's a process and it will definitely challenge you, but I wouldn't be that stressed about it (at least not until you have to take boards). It really depends upon you background before PT school. I was an ATC before so anatomy was not as tough as for some.

Reaction score. Apr 25, 2012. #2. Historically, PT programs have been more difficult to get into than OT, but in the past few years the number of applicants to OT programs have literally grown exponentially. OT school is becoming increasingly harder to get into and will continue to do so, as it's being consistently ranked on "best jobs" and ...

  6. Physical Therapy school; which is the easiest to get into????

Belief in God, is not going to get you into PT school. It takes hard work to get there. I also believe in God, but did not expect to get into PT school because of that belief. I have a 3.8 GPA and scored over 1100 on the GRE. Many schools will not even look at you if you have less than a 3.0 GPA, the GRE depends on the school.

As a current PT student I'll try and answer your question to the best of my ability. To begin, yes it is possible for you to get into PT school with C's, B's, and even F's. You have to work hard to get a good GRE score to help offset the lower GPA, and re-take classes to try and achieve the 3.0 minimum.

I understand that any schooling is going to be difficult especially in todays world. But I read a ton of things saying that PT and DPT school is overwhelming and really hard. I go to a college prep school that was recognized in the top 25 catholic schools in the country. Everyone is saying that...

Dec 22, 2020. #1. Hey guys, To be super frank, I failed 2 of the five classes during my first semester of PT school. I worked extremely hard to get into PT school and am obviously crushed right now. This semester was almost entirely online and needless to say, I struggled. My mental health really declined throughout the whole semester, and I ...

Sep 28, 2017. #1. Any advice would be appreciated. I am a first year PT student and have found coursework and exams to be challenging. I struggled during anatomy and barely made it through that summer semester. I'm currently on academic probation and need to manage a 3.0 by the end of my spring semester, but I was optimistic going into the fall ...
