I was still bleeding a bit at 4/5 weeks - maybe just soaking one pad a day. I think it can take up to 6 weeks but if you’re concerned double check with your doc. Also if you’re passing blood clots then check with the doctor. I only have bright red blood every third of fourth time I wipe after using the restroom.
Ftm I am almost three weeks postpartum. Since giving birth I had bright red blood like a period for the first 10 days. On the 10th day I passed a blood clot then my bleeding stopped. From then on I only had very little brown spotting to almost nothing. I did bleed a little with a bowl movement not sure if it is hemorrhoids or a fissure.

Bleeding stopped a day after D&C to remove it. By 3 weeks bleeding is normal but it should be less- if it is consistent let your dr know. Like.

I’ll be 4 weeks postpartum on Sunday and I am producing on average 55 oz of breast milk at 8 ppd. Usually I go 4-5 hours during nights where I don’t pump but pump every 2-3 hours during the day. Is it possible to go to 6 or 7 ppd or should I wait till I regulate at 12 weeks?
