Hi, I'm running Vuze 5.7.4.1_B09 with IPVanish using SOCKS5 VPN Proxy. As of yesterday each time I try to download anything from Extratorrent I get the following message in the Operation In Progress p
Vuze will search and find torrents but will not download anything, when the torrent download dialog window opens, it takes a few minutes then says that the download has filed and gives this message :
Recently I haven't been able to get any results from Extratorrent in Meta Search. One day it was working, the next day it wasn't. I've completely deleted Vuze and redownloaded it twice, even upgraded to 5.7.0.0, and still the same result. It doesn't matter if my VPN is turned on or off.
BACKUP YOUR CONFIG BEFORE DOING ANYTHING! After reinstalling Vuze, restore your config file. At least one of your KAT templates should be working (if you had multiple KAT search templates to begin with). If still you have invalid KAT templates running in a multiple KAT template system, fix or delete those.
Also, the point of the search templates, at least to me, is that you don't have to open another app. I mean, I could just open my web browser and search Extratorrent or something, (which I sometimes have to do lately). I prefer having it all in just one app. As for a chat feature, I'm using 5.7.3 and don't see it.

I know that my Internet Provider can see my ip address everytime. Big torrent portals like ExtraTorrent and Kickass recommend Trust.Zone VPN to avoid tracking.
Upgraded yesterday, and was not a transparent upgrade...after upgrade there was some mention, iirc, of a java issue--can't remember what.
Well you can always take the download link, paste it into a browser and download the .torrent file, then add that to Vuze

ExtraTorrent has had problems in the past little while and their address has changed. I cant find anywhere in here to show how to change the Extratorrent address to fit its current one on the meta search filters page.
