It is by far my most used deer rifle. It is a steady 1" rifle with a 4x German Zeiss scope. I bought it off gunbroker.com for around $600.00, which I view as a deal. I would buy a good used 1 for $1,000-1,200 but they are not worth the current retail. Re: Opinion on Remington Model 7 Mannlicher from the Custom Shop.
For $400 more than the B&C, a McMillan Hunters Edge would put rifle and scope weight around 6.2lbs. I’m not sure that’s enough of a difference to be worth the extra cost, same goes for Manners. Re: B&C UltraLight Remington Model 7 Stock. JJWise # 13810837 05/11/19.
Or, consider that Rick's sale price for McM stocks is $438. $438 is $36.50 per month, or $8.42 per week, or $1.20 per day. So, for less than the daily cost of a large cup of coffee at Kum & Go, you could pay for a McM stock. Is that a good deal or what? Jeff.

Re: Remington Model Seven date of manufacture. April,’94. “C” stands for April and “O” is the year ‘94. The 94 is either an assembler’s code or inspector’s code most likely. For the month just use the word BLACKPOWDERX for the month. B for Jan and X for December.

It appears that is no longer offered in the CDL.

Three 7mm SAUMs, a .300SAUM, and a .350RM. Not sure I’d want a 20” WSM, due to blast. That plus IMHO at least with every Remington I have used or bought in a WSM package they do not feed smoothly. The polar opposite of a Vanguard, Sako, Browning Abolt or Tikka which I have tried in the WSM .
Up for sale here is a Remington Custom Shop Model 7 MS chambered in 350 Remington Magnum. Upon purchase from Gun Broker, I mounted a 3-9x40 Nikon "Pre Monarch Japan" matte scope in DNZ rings.. Fired it four times and put it back in the safe.
I have it chambered in my Remington Model 7, and the caliber has impressed me to the point that I keep grabbing the M-7 from the gun case when I go hunting. So far that rifle has accounted for two moose, three bears, a half-dozen deer and, finally, after a lifetime of hunting, it claimed the first elk I d ever taken with any Remington.
