It costs a lot of money to keep Wikipedia going, to pay for the computers running 24/7 and the staff that maintains them. That money has to come from somewhere.

    I am tired of having to scroll half a page to get non wikipedia results. and i'd like to do a search from the adress bar while excluding wikipedia -site:Wikipedia.org ( and all thier 5000 domains) or-wikipedia or whatever so i don't have antyhing that has them in the result.     Wikipedia can't be used as a source because it isn't one. However the information in the article is sourced at the bottom of the page and you can use those as sources. Wikipedia isn't accepted as a source because it isn't a source. It's considered a "tertiary source" that sums up primary and secondary sources.

    The more fun and challenging way to play this game is to exclude countries and WW2 wiki pages. It’s pretty easy if you go ”Country->WW2->Hitler“. Like in this example of yours there’s probably gonna be some country that the thing first came up in. Most of the times there’s mentions of WW2 in a country‘s Wikipedia page.
