Got tested last Tuesday, and I got my results by the weekend. I didn't get an email notification for it after I signed up. But it took 4ish days. I took the antibody test at a Labcorp inside a CVS two weeks ago and waited 5 days I believe before calling in to my GP to the get the results. I was negative.
I got my test Saturday morning and am still waiting. At this point all my symptoms went away. I'm so frustrated as I had to reschedule all my appointments for this week. I'm hoping today is the day. Edit: So I'm never getting my results! My test was thrown out. Super annoyed at this point. 6 days. I took a test Sunday and was hoping to be back ...
With the rise in covid and high demand of ppl getting tested. It can run anywhere from 5 to 7 days. The pharmacy only provides the test and we do not have access to the results. You have created a mychart account and received a link to do so. When you arrived to get tested you would have provided the tech with a confirmation number and soon ...
Thanks all. CVS ended up giving their results in the 60 hr Mark like previously mentioned. I got mine done with ACTG labs in Irvine just to be safe too as I was getting nervous about the timing - for same day results over the weekend. It was $150, much cheaper than the rest of the same days- it’s closed on Sunday though. Just FYI
I spoke to CVS customer service at the same location beforehand. They told me that many people had gotten prescribed Paxlovid via the same CVS telehealth method I used, based only on their positive COVID test. I mentioned that I had blood work demonstrating my anemia and that I would attest that I was anemic and to my COVID symptoms.
The results you get have the following: Your name and date of birth. The date and time the specimen was collected. The type of test conducted. And the lab doing the test. There is no address listed for the lab. This is a digital copy sent to my CVS mychart. I don't know if you were to get a physical copy if there would be any more info.
Consumers in the U.S. can get at-home test kits for COVID-19 at most retail pharmacies. Free tests (up to 4 tests per U.S. address) are also available from the government at COVIDTests.gov as of the fall of 2023. They do not require a prescription. You may also be able to pick up tests at your local health department.
I’ve also heard the tests aren’t horribly accurate when it comes to false negatives. 2. FlamingMothling. • 4 yr. ago. I (47F) believe CVS drive through is still using a self administered nasal swab (not nasopharyngeal) for Abbot Rapid tests. These tests have been reported to produce a large percentage of false negatives.
The rapid test turn around is 30 mins to a few hours. However, rapid antigen tests aren’t usually accepted by airlines. UNLESS YOU GOT A RAPID PCR but this is only offered at some locations. Our turnaround times have gone up to 4 days! I feel like this person is cutting it close! Hey all.. so just took my test @ CVS @ 12pm in Houston, and my ...
