Temu is definitely a legitimate site. It's like AliExpress but that the site's items are all from US warehouses so (limited items) but wayyyy faster shipping rates. My Chinese friend told me it's called pinduoduo in china? So while the site is legitimate, I have no idea about the games tho.
I've received these for over a year & didn't know what temu even was. They target everyone. Now, I understand the real temu is a legitimate company. I also getbtons of scam emails from other legit businesses. I figured it because my email is over 20 years old. I do change passwords of course but the name/ email is the same.

In my opinion it is legit in the sense that it's not a scam, but you're either getting cheap plastic crap or you'll go down the spiral of buying crap you don't need to meet the criteria for the coupons. Those coupons have a fine print you can read by clicking the (i) button on the screen.
Temu is in that gray area. Not quite legit, not quite a scam. They're a legitimate business. They started by Pin Duo Duo in China, and have played some shell games to put some perceived distance between their US front and their Chinese roots. PDD and Temu both are known for selling dubious quality stuff.
People nickname it as "并夕夕” (half of those three characters) to tell how bad it could be. I loooove that there are some many jokes in Chinese that are based off of the characters, like a pun but instead of it being based on how the word sounds, it’s how the characters are written.
