Then the address provided doesn't say USPS Verified; but it also doesn't say that it's 'not verified, and shipping to an unverified address can cause a delay', etc. So I googled the address in NYC and it appears to be a large though not gigantic apartment building. The address provided did not have an apartment number, however.
I was attempting to print a label for an order and ran into an issue I haven't encountered before. The address shows USPS verified in green as usual but inside a big red square it says This address is invalid. Update address to purchase labels. Be sure to state very very clearly the reason for non-delivery (I like to use the exact wording from USPS and include a copy of the tracking information). Missing Unit/ Apartment #. 11-09-202012:43 PM. The last apartment I lived in had a unique street address for each unit, e.g., 1-X on the same street, so if we were building 2700 of 10 units, those 10 units were 2701 to 2710 [Street Name]. Therefore, no apartment number was needed.
If your receiving location isn't secure you should consider using a package receiving company like Mailboxes etc. UPS and FedEx also allows you to direct a package to one of their locations. I recently had a buyer claim her package was not received even though USPS said it was delivered.
