Thanks but I don't get it. Other examples use "whomever" as the subject of the sentence below. Am I wrong? Whomever wins in November may need to act on this pledge early in his presidency. Whomever murdered this patriot used that dumpster to try to cover their tracks. Whomever plays Judson would have to defeat the Eagles twice to claim the title.
1. We don't have "quick accent". The verb "speak" is essential and needs the adverb "quickly." An accent cannot be quick. 2. I am not happy with the wording given. To me, it means that the accent is doing the understanding, which is not correct. What do you think? Thanks.
