I went to where you said, and removed permissions from Epic Games. Then I re-linked the account and something odd happened. Xbox sent me an email that i successfully connected the app and it came under the Apps and Services tab, but on the Epic Games end, it didn't recognize the account and still prompted me to link the account.
I understand you need help on your log in with Epic. Try using a different browser to check if you can log in to it without issues. Or if not, try browsing using inprivate browsing or incognito. If that does not have, clear the cache of your browser or try using other devices to log in to your Epic account. Hope that helps!

We understand that you are trying to link your Microsoft account to your Epic Games account, but you must first unlink an Epic Games account from the Microsoft account in order to use the Epic Games account that you want. So that's what i did I contacted epic games' support and got a reply about 8 days after i sent the first email, and i know about whats going on right now in the world, but C'mon 8 days that's quite a long time.

Within my son's Epic Games account he currently has a connection to his Switch. When I try to link to his new box (which is his home xbox) I want it to connect to his xbox account, but instead it connects to my xbox account and at no point does it ask which box account to link to! We have a family Microsoft account where I have 2 son's listed.
