Hi guys, so today I just tried Amazon Flex. I signed up for the 2:30pm - 6pm block thinking that I would finish at around 6pm as the app showed. I figured that 3.5 hours for a promised pay of $62 is pretty nice. I don't really do delivery for a living, but I figured I'd give it a try and see how that goes.
Hey everyone! I'm currently a Doordash/Uber/Instacart subcontractor and looking to fill the 8 AM-12 PM block of my schedule with other 1099 work. I stumbled upon amazon flex, which other people recommended on other subs. What is the job quality in your eyes and is it worth doing in your spare time? Also, is the pay grade they advertise for your area accurate? They advertised as 18-25$ an hour ...
If you think just Amazon is doing this, you’re sadly mistaken. I agree that Amazon is getting as much labor out of Flex drivers as possible at the lowest rate possible. This is a basic principle of logistics world-wide for delivery drivers, whether you’re driving your POV or driving a semi. They are going to pay you the lowest rate possible.
Now that I no longer do amazon flex, I have decided to release some of my tips and tricks I have used. I am not sure if people are aware of these or not but here is a list I can think of. Tip #1 has literally helped me so much when doing multiple blocks in 1 day and allows me to finish my day super early.
If drivers get too many complaints, they can be deactivated. There are no raises for Amazon Flex drivers because they are independent contractors. For DSP drivers, it would be up to the leadership of that particular DSP, but it's doubtful they would offer raises based on that customer feedback. 3. Baghins.
My experience so far with Amazon Flex (including the holiday rush) I am a multi-app fiend (I do Doordash, Grubhub, Postmates, UberEats, Instacart, Amazon Flex and I'm looking to start with Shipt). To me, it is all about maximizing how busy I am and how much money I'm making, when I am working. Downtime in these gigs usually means no pay at all.
ADMIN MOD. What bot is everyone using right now? I have been curious which bots people are using, and how much success they bring them at catching offers. If I missed the bot you are using, comment it down below. So far I have tried My Flex Helper, and RE-Flex.
List of known paid for bots. These aren't the only bots, just the ones that have been heavily used and are well known. Flex47Bot, 25 a week, one day free trial. MyFlexBot, 50 a month (35 in my area), one day free trial. Flex-Grabber, 60 for 2 weeks, 2 day free trial. MyFlexHelper, 150 per month, 7 day free trial (please note that lately there ...
I’ve been doing Flex for a few months now and decided to sit and crunch some numbers. In full transparency I worked 51 hours in August, made $863.50, but then spent 407.33 in gas! I’m aware I use my vehicle for other reasons besides Amazon, but in comparison the last month I wasn’t Flexing I only spent 137.53 in gas (and most of that was for my day job which I get monthly mileage checks ...
