For COVID store employees to get paid only as much as the non-COVID stores is pathetic, blind, and inappropriate, especially when we are putting our health and our family’s health at risk. Corporate clearly sees us as pawns to do all their frontline work for them while they collect the big checks. Pathetic.

You don’t stick it up as far but they have you swab one nostril for 15 seconds, then leave it in there still for 10, and do the same thing on the other side with the same end you just used (which is kinda gross but w/e) Reply. ari3stax • 3 yr. ago. I tested positive at CVS despite being 100% asymptomatic the entire time.

They told me that many people had gotten prescribed Paxlovid via the same CVS telehealth method I used, based only on their positive COVID test. I mentioned that I had blood work demonstrating my anemia and that I would attest that I was anemic and to my COVID symptoms. The customer service rep said that this would likely not be necessary, and ...

If it's your first time, they'll walk you through the process from inside. Essentially, you get a long cotton swap stick it up your nostrils for 10 seconds while spinning it (hurts!). It'll take no more than 5 min. I've also done Walgreens testing which is less painful due to the fact that they don't make you stick it all way up.

So CVS introduced a new covid testing system for stores with a drive thru. Previously we would give the patient the kit, demonstrate how to take the test and then ask them to drop their sample into a little box that we kept outside. The samples would then be collected and tested by a third party agency. This way we had no exposure to their virus.

CVS Covid testing paid ($139) vs free for traveling. Can someone confirm what the difference is between the $139 covid test for travel and the free one? For the free one, if you just select the "Are you seeking a test to prevent possible spread of COVID-19 for future travel or recreation?" question and answer the other questions "No", it still ...

I called 866-389-4747 (MinuteClinic) and texted "results mm-dd-yyyy" (where date is birthdate) to 888-444-5668. Both said results pending (call was robot). So I actually got my results around 6:58 pm today. I got my test done at the South Lancaster location in Oak Cliff. My store is 2 days in VA.

  9. What's been your experience of CVS PCR testing turnaround time?

Recent experience was a quick turnaround time. Tested Friday morning and had results Sunday morning. 5. Share. Forsaken_Bison_8623. • 3 yr. ago. We didn't end up getting our test results in time to cross the border and it was really stressful. I highly recommend doing an on site rapid test by the border instead. PCR results back in 30 mins.

The lab(s) cvs use are also used by other businesses in the area. If you test on a week when there is a lull you might get your results back in 24 hours. If there is a sudden spike in tests 72 to 96 hours. I’ve had times where the lab courier picks up at our location and misses grabbing two bags. So that adds a day to the testing time.

  11. CVS Testing- how long did it take to get your results?

Got tested last Tuesday, and I got my results by the weekend. I didn't get an email notification for it after I signed up. But it took 4ish days. I took the antibody test at a Labcorp inside a CVS two weeks ago and waited 5 days I believe before calling in to my GP to the get the results. I was negative.
