Re: Comenity shutting down Wayfair Credit Card. I applied for and received one with a $7500 limit back in 2016. Got it mostly for padding. In 2.5 years managed to get the CL all the way to around $15k via SP CLIs. A little over a year ago Comenity shut me down. Reason...never charged a nickel on the card.

I opened a new Citi Wayfair CC around 11/20 for $3K. My original card closed under Comenity Bank like everyone else. (never used it.). I decided to try the CLI button thinking it would be a soft pull. NOPE. I was instantly approved $9K. After doing so, I rushed and updated all locks/ freezes right away for each CRA.
Floor & Decor (Comenity Bank) - Closing all accounts August 1, 2023. Not sure if this is news or not -- but just got a letter from Comenity Back today stating that all Floor & Decor credit card accounts will close and can still be used until July 31, 2023 11:59 PM ET. The Wayfair Credit Card Program, issued by Comenity Bank, will be ending. You can use your Account through September 10, 2020. After that date, your Account will no longer be valid for new transactions. However, rewards that you've earned through September 10, 2020 can be redeemed until September 10, 2021.
If you would rather make purchases elsewhere, I've seen many of Wayfair's offerings at Overstock and Walmart, and both of those stores have their own cards. I just got a secure message on my account - Comenity is closing Wayfair cards on Sept 11, 2020. Dang. I loved this card. It's a $8,300 - 6101725 - 19.
Roaman's etc. Normally any of the cards can be used on all the affiliated sites. At one time my Wayfair (not a FullBeauty affiliate, but Comenity backed) login had a message indicating I could click it to check for a preapproval. Wayfair actually followed up later with an actual pre-approved letter.
IMO. The old Wayfair cards were issued by Comenity bank. Wayfair and Comenity's contract ended, so Comenity (the backer of the credit accounts) issued Comenity MasterCards to replace the former Wayfair Store card. Wayfair made a new deal with Citibank to back their new cards (both store and MasterCard versions).
