Pitogo, officially the Municipality of Pitogo ( Tagalog: Bayan ng Pitogo ), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 22,798 people. [ 3] Pitogo is 84 kilometers (52 mi) from Lucena and 214 kilometers (133 mi) from Manila .
In February 1996, a new barangay named Rizal was created from Pembo through Makati City Ordinance No. 96-010. It was later ratified through a plebiscite held on June 29, 1996.
