Motor Week, a weekly TV show over 20 years old, stated today that the Diamler/Chrysler minivans are the vans to buy for 2001. Winners of the SUV category were the new Ford Escape/Mazda Tribute twins. Honda motor company only made the winners list with the luxury priced SUV Accura MDX. Diamler/Chrysler also won the mid-size sedan.

if your new odyssey goes 8 years and 69750 miles without a transmission problem it will be the new ody record. Of course the record you got with your Dodge has been broken by hundreds of thousands of owners, far more Chrysler minivans have gone 100,000 and beyond on the original transmission, not 1 Odyssey has.

It really is a heck of a deal right now. This is our 4th Chrysler/Dodge minivan, and this one is the quietest, most powerful, and smoothest that we have owned. Our most recent T&C was a 2005 Touring with the luxury package, and we really loved that van too, but this one is even better (so far).
Purchased a 2008 Chrysler T&C in Sept. of 2007. In August of 2008 the van began vibrating & shimmying when the brakes were applied. The van had 17,562 miles on it. We were informed that the front brakes were about 1/8 inch think & that the rotors had a large lip wore on them.
