The Beach at Campus Martius Park is a sun-soaked oasis that welcomes visitors May through October. This uniquely Detroit experience is a perfect place to build sandcastles with the kids, take in live music, people watch, and enjoy a frozen cocktail with friends.

Michigan’s biggest and best daily food truck rally is back at Cadillac Square, and the Woodward Esplanade June through October from 11 am – 3 pm. Throughout the season, choose from our rotating fleet of more than 75 food trucks and sample Detroit classics and street food from around the world.
In the heart of Downtown, Campus Martius Park is Detroit’s Gathering Place for both residents and visitors. This famous park was created in 2003 at the site of Detroit’s point of origin located at 0 miles, where the vision for the city’s plan was originally laid out by Augustus Woodward in 1805.
Once the site of the Detroit Central Market, Cadillac Square is a re-established park that lies immediately to the east of Campus Martius Park. Cadillac Square is home to the relocated Bagley Memorial Fountain, food truck rallies, and a variety of seating to enjoy amidst beautiful perennial gardens.
