Amenities. Beginning April 1, 2024, the train and carousel are open daily, 10am-4:30pm (last entry at 4pm), weather and conditions permitting. Tickets are purchased at the facility. The Friends of the Bergen County Zoo is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing financial support to the Bergen County Zoological Park. Supports animal welfare, educational programs, family-friendly facilities, and more.
It has a playground with three areas as well as a large spacious grassfield that dogs love to go through in the front of the park. There's also a gated dog park in the back of Van Saun too. There is also a zoological zoo in the middle of it as well as plenty of parking space.
