This campus is the cutting edge for all things electronics, radar, processors, quantum computing, and semiconductors for space, air, land, surface and subsea (some in Annapolis just 30 min south).
There weren't a ton of business interns but there was a few. It seemed like most interns were highly involved in rocket/space clubs (i.e. leadership roles), had multiple NASA internships under their belt, and were at the top of their class. Also I don't remember there being any freshman interns, typically they are junior/senior (could be wrong).
It’s a bit of an oxymoron, but Blue Origin feels like a legacy new space company. On the other hand, Relativity is sort of like a giant metal 3D printing company that happens to make rockets. What they are doing - and what I assume to be the brunt of their work - is getting their novel manufacturing process tuned.
SpaceX and Blue Origin are a mix between on-site as needed w/ measures such as facemasks and regular cleaning of facilities, and WFH if the intern's tasks do not need to be accomplished at the office, factory, or test stands.
