The Nursing A.A.S. program at Lehigh Carbon Community College is approved by the PA State Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). In January 1994, the college officially changed its name to Lehigh Carbon Community College. In 1996, the Carbon site was relocated to Nesquehoning. The downtown Allentown site was relocated in January 1999 and, in November of that year was rededicated as the Donley Center.
