Posts: 549. Re: Weird very sore skin on left side of face! Sounds like a tooth or a sinus infection to me. I would highly recommend you visit your doctor because you may need an antibiotic to clear this up. If it's been going on for a while, it's obviously not going to go away on it's own.

At one point, one whole side of my head, the top of my head, the back of my neck and one side of my face tingled and/or was numb. Taking a shower was brutal b/c the water felt like little daggers or needles being jabbed into the flesh. I also had tingling going down both arms and to the 3 outer fingers on both hands.
