miAccount is ORS’ secure, online tool for managing your retirement account. You will use MILogin to access miAccount. As an active member with a pension benefit, miAccount will allow you to: Check your reported compensation and service credit (earned and purchased). Name beneficiaries. Create pension estimates.
You can find it on most correspondence you receive from our office. If you can't find your Member ID, follow these steps to have your member ID mailed to you. Select your retirement system above then click the Register Now button from the login page.
As you may be aware, the Michigan Office of Retirement Services (ORS) recently adopted the State of Michigan's single sign-on standard, MiLogin, for miAccount. The new standard requires a multifactor authentication before you can log in to miAccount to increase security.
1. Start at miAccount. Click miAccount from the Michigan Office of Retirement Services (ORS) website and the MILogin screen appears. If you have miAccount saved as a favorite, you will be redirected to MILogin. 2. Do you have a MILogin account? Yes. Great! Enter your MILogin user ID and password and move on to step 3.
Click on miAccount and you can: Review your account summary. Check out years of service credit earned. Service credit purchased. MIP contributions and interest. Calculate your monthly pension. Change bank account information. Change address and/or phone number. Update beneficiaries.
Login instructions. Click on miAccount from the ORS website. (You will be redirected to the MiLogin page.) If your login attempt is not successful: Do you have a MILogin account that you created for another state of Michigan agency (for example, the secretary of state or the unemployment insurance agency)?
