Well-Known Member. I am starting Emerald over and I am going to do an all water team and I would like to know what pokemon would be best for a team. right now I have mudkip. move sets and suggestions would be appreciated. FC 5129-3551-1174.
Lapras: real powerful water/ice pokemon which can take care of the last gym and the champion. Starmie: good water pokemon and learns a good variety of attacks. The only problem is getting a water stone. Feraligator: strong starter pokemon that can learn ice punch to defeat Maganium and surf to defeat Typhlosion.
Water Type Pokemon in the anime seem to barley ever evolve. Well, aside from Brock's Mudkip & Ludicolo. & If I recall correctly, only one of Ash's Water type Pokemon has ever evolved-his only evolved water type so far is Kingler from back at the beginning of the series. Totodile just never evolved, maybe the writers liked its dancing persona.
Mimikyu probably has the saddest backstory of any Pokémon. Bewear - Called the most dangerous Alolan Pokémon because of its sheer strength, which has even caused some Trainers' deaths. Bewear isn't a cold-blooded murderer, however - it just has too much power. It can be taught to restrain itself when it hugs.
Water Remember that BEST does not necessarily mean FAVORITE. WORST does not necessarily mean LEAST FAVORITE either. For example, Magikarp is one of my favorite Pokemon, but any Pokemon fan knows that Magikarp is probably the worst Water Pokemon out there. Dynamo Trainer. Dec 29, 2006. #2. Mystic Water boosts Water-type moves by 10%. Sea Incense boosts them by 5%. Sea Incense is really meant for breeding to get Azurill rather than as a hold item for battling. Just because something can't be done doesn't mean it shouldn't be! G.
The Pokemon which goes first gets this message: " [Pokemon] is waiting for [Pokemon's] attack!" The moves combine into one move that targets one Pokemon, if I didn't make that clear already. Grass + Fire = Fire Type move, Grass + Water = Grass Type move, and Water + Fire = Water Type move.
I'm just saying that the best Water-types are more durable than the best Psychic-types. Of course, on the flip side, most Psychic-types are more offensive than Water-types. So essentially, if you're talking in terms of defense, then Waters are better; if you're talking in terms of offense, then Psychics are better. Sprites obtained here.
