"WiFi calling, offered on most Xfinity Mobile iPhones and Android devices, allows you to talk and text over a WiFi network if cellular service isn't available." So, make sure that you've enabled wifi calling. Add the Hotspot app. Wonky, and coverage is, well, spotty. Add the xfinitywifi and XFINITY wireless credentials. PIA

one thing that is unique about xfinity mobile, it's one of the few verizon MVNOs that has premium data (if you pay extra for the $10 HD add-on, or get the "by the gig" plan), which means data does not deprioritize. considering how bad verizon is with deprioritizing, this is a nice feature. it means your data won't slow down when your area is congested. normally, only the higher verizon postpad ...

  5. Xfinity Mobile Trade In [Edited] - Xfinity Community Forum

Assurant receives my phone, puts a chip in the corner of my phone, and they notify Xfinity Mobile that they just saved them from giving a Xfinity Customer a $600 credit, in my case $600 credit for 2 trades in phones for 2 new iPhone 14 Prop Max. Assurant must make some sort of commission for every phone they break and make ineligible for trade in.

On average prices double every 20 years due to the average inflation of 3%. Some industries it is more and some it is less. Based on my research, Comcast is using Xfinity Mobile as a way to keep their business sticky. This is because more people are using alternative “TV” providers.

  8. Xfinity mobile Assurant trade in issues

I submitted a form and received this: "I apologize for any miscommunication; you have contacted the cellular protection department and we are unable to assist with trade-in transactions. For more information, please contact Xfinity Mobile Customer Support at (888) 936-4968." Running circles.

Cons: you have to maintain service (internet, TV, or home phone), so if you move to an area that doesn’t have Comcast, you have to pay a $25 line fee You don’t get priority access to to Verizon, so when use is very high you’ll have reduced speeds (rarely an issue for me) 5. Share. Dragon1562.

If Verizon has excellent coverage where you live, it's very hard to beat Xfinity. Customer service is lacking at times. I just went through all of the comparisons for us (Verizon, T-Mobile, Fi, etc ) and while Fi was a little cheaper, they use T-Mobile towers by me and their coverage is beaten hands down by Verizon. 2.

  11. New mobile 'by the gig ' rates | Xfinity Community Forum

    forums.xfinity.com/conversations/plan/new-mobile-by-the-gig-rates/6616ca1f4b...

They still had a New Year's special running for $20 (taxes & fees incl.) for 2 years with unlimited data! It's cheaper than the new Xfinity Mobile by the gig rate will be (with taxes). Mint Mobile is running a deal for $15 a month (taxes & fees incl.) which includes 5GB of data per month. I suspect Verizon increased their MVNO fees to Xfinity.
