Tinikling is a traditional Philippine folk dance which originated prior to Spanish colonialism in the area. In 2016, the U.S. embassy in the Philippines and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts began recording a complete version of the Dulimaman Epic of the Itneg people. Once finished, the epic will be transcribed and translated by native speakers and will be turned into book with English translation. The project will end in September 2019.
