Does anyone know what happened to Brian Whitman since he split the podcast from Tim Conway Jr?
Jul 18, 2009. #1. LARADIO.com reports that Leykis served BDW with a C&D over the Fake Leykis podcasts (which are brilliant and available at fakeleykispodcast.com or through itunes). Leykis also wants an accounting of donations to Whitman. This, to me, is an unbelievably petty move on behalf of the professor.
Who is Brian Whitman? Brian is a famous impressionist in the radio insdustry. He is a daily componant to the Glenn Beck show. He also does voices for Scott Shannon, and prior to WABC was the morning person at the same 102.9 FM in San Diego (hey, I used to work there too!). He may have also done some work at KIIS FM at one point.
asugeorge1. May 22, 2021. #1. I was listening to Tim Conway Jr’s show last night on KFI and he announced that he and his producer were being suspended next week and would return to the air on Tuesday, June 1st. Apparently it was due to something that was said on the show on May 3rd.

I listened to the Leykis segment on Mark and Brian's departure. It is sad that he's not getting the big money offers. TL explains stations and their conglomerate owners are so in debt with big exec pay packages that he refuses to work at a "reduced rate" to help media execs/companies.
Can't they get Brian Whitman to fill in? Mark Thompson has the personality of a rock. Whitman is still a free agent after leaving KRLA was recently on the Adam Corolla podcast and was a riot just like the good ol' 97.1 days. Need those two back together again even if it's just one day a week.
