I have had a couple of quotes for the repair - both are around £120.00. The laptop has a fair spec on it. Shame that just the the hinge is broken. A new one with a similar spec is around £550 to £600. I have looked at some second hand ones on Ebay so I may get one of those and maybe sell the Lenovo one for parts only.

They suggested either holding down the power button for 30 seconds to discharge static electricity or press the Novo factory reset button, fortunately the first option resolved the problem. I would suspect that they are made by one of the usual suspects in the "glue whatever badge is next in the bin on the front of the telly" clone makers like Vestel. Quite likely could even be a mix of "makes" from one model to the next with only the badge being the common element.
I have a Lenovo TB2-X30F running android 6.0.1. I have installed a SD card, which shows up OK under Settings/Storage & USB. My internal storage is getting rather full, and I want to transfer videos, pictures etc to the SD card. Trouble is, I can't seem to do it! I have tried a couple of file manager apps, but couldn't see any means of doing this.
